Mining on Free Plots? There are 16 total spots available.
Here’s how you can check the correct number of jobs available.
Today we are going to talk about a visual bug, which is causing a lot of confusion among players, and it’s not so easy to fix. We are talking about inaccurate displaying of job spots available for workers within any free plot of the Grand Land.
What will happen if 16 workers will come to the same free plot in the Grand Land to mine ore there? They will be able to work simultaneously only if no one else is mining another resource within that plot.
Free plots are located around the perimeter of the Grand Land, they have no owners, and resources there are available for mining to anyone. The main thing that differentiates free plots from regular plots, is there are no job limits for the ground resources. The maximum number of workers, which can work there is limited only by a general number of jobs on the plot, which is 16. The decision to remove limits for mining on the free plots was made as a way to make resources there available for a maximum number of people.
Job Limits
Let’s remember, job limits are relevant for the regular plots within the Grand Land and all the plots within Wild West and Yukon, provided that there is no mine on the plot.
The general amount of workers working simultaneously on the plot — maximum 16 workers;
The limit for all the above ground resources (stone and wood) — up to 16 workers;
The limit for all the underground resources (ore, coal, clay) — 1 worker per deposit.
Free plots in the Grand Land
The general amount of workers working simultaneously on the plot — maximum 16 workers;
The limit for all the ground resources (stone and wood) — up to 16 workers;
The limit for all the underground resources — up to 16 workers.
Thus the number of working places available for each deposit is constantly changing with every worker which starts or finishes mining within that plot.
For example, 7 workers mine ore, and 3 workers are cutting wood. 16 — (7+3) = 6 jobs spots are still available.
The problem is that at the moment, the counters of jobs per deposits within the free plots do not show a number of job spots available (the visual bug we’ve mentioned before). Mostly they show that all the places are taken.
For now, the most accurate way to look over how many job spots within that specific plot are taken is to go to the Storage window, and look under the workers tab.
Will it be fixed?
The thing is, if we change the way job limits are displayed within the free plots, it will drag changes for all the regular plots as well. We do not want to do this since those jobs counters for deposits within regular plots are very useful. This decision requires additional time to consider all the options we have, and choose the best one.
Meanwhile, we ask you to not hesitate to mine the free plots. Simply check the availability of job spots in the right part of the storage window. (The “WORKERS” tab )
